Step 1: Soak almonds, put almonds in a blender jar and add little milk and blend to a smooth paste.
Step 2: Transfer ground paste into the remaining milk and mix, cook till it boils for 5 minutes on low heat.
Step 3: Add saffron, mix and cook for a minute and take the pan off the heat. Refrigerate till chilled.
Step 3: Alternatively if the milk is already pasteurised, mix it, refrigrate it and have it chilled.
Step 3: To enhance taste, add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder for garnishing before serving.
